“The ladder was very easy to instal. Instructions were straightforward. Very robust, for such a lightweight ladder. The double steps, where the Sections join together when extended, provide additional safety. Cost was great”

“It’s a pretty basic loft ladder, I had expected a more robust product from the Youngman brand. There is a lot of sideways flex when bringing the ladder down and they could do much better than providing a square section aluminium pole for a round hole in the ladder. They also assume you have a quarter-turn lock on your hatch door as they only provide a plastic ‘key’ to go in the end of the pole. However I have a push-to-open, push-to-close mechanism so a rubber cap to fit the pole would be better for me. Once you have climbed the ladder, be careful not to trip over the metal rods that are part of the ladder fixings that are in your way as you climb into the loft.”
