About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

Hi Hamza, I'm sorry to hear that your Knoops at home didn’t live up to your expectations. I have a couple of suggestions for making Knoops at home: - 50g of chocolate per 200ml of milk is the ratio we use in store - heat the milk to 65 degrees (no hotter than 70 though as this will burn the milk) - use full-fat cows milk or barista plant milk for a better texture You can also melt the flakes with milk over the hob. If you have a soup blender, shaker, milk frother or whisk, this would add some froth.

“I ordered my two sets of hot chocolate on 28.11.24 for Christmas presents but they never arrived despite emailing your company on numerous occasions regarding this. I eventually received a refund but was left with no presents & it was too late to order anything else in time for Christmas. Very disappointing & a shame as myself & friends regularly visit your coffee shops.”

“The hot chocolate is nice, but the marshmallows are a complete rip off in terms of price. Absolutely extortionate for the amount you got, and although nice, no where evenly remote close to justifying the price. Buy the hot chocolate and stay clear of overpriced marshmallows.”

Hi Elaine, thank you for the feedback and sorry to hear you are disappointed with your flakes. Please note this gift set includes the 34% milk chocolate which is on the sweeter side of our flakes, we would recommend going with a dark % or trying our Hot Chocolate Selection Box to find which % works best for you. Glad to hear you enjoyed the marshmallows.
