About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

“Bought as a present but tried the 38% milk flakes. Absolutely delicious! Very smooth and creamy without being sickly. Would definitely recommend and going to buy some for myself!”

“A really good way to try different chocolate intensities and flavours to discover what you enjoy. I bought it as a gift but was secretly a gift to myself too.A great price point for something that felt indulgent, but had what I wanted without having loads of bits that would never get used. Chocolate was lovely, sachet sizes were just right and the packaging understated and stylish.”

“I was given a hot chocolate machine for Christmas, and remembered the best chocolate I’d ever had, from a little shop up a hill in Rye. Delighted to find it was available online- Knoops is quite literally the only hot chocolate I want to drink now I’ve tasted it! This selection pack was for my partner, so we can discover his favourite and keep a stock of it in the cupboard.”

“The box of chocolates was a great experience and overall very tasty the only reason I scored it 4 out of 5 is that for me there were too many very dark chocolate sachets which I believe is an acquired taste.”
