About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

“We ordered the Knoops Hot Chocolate Selection Box in order to further investigate the range of Knoops hot chocolate. We had tried out three of their tubes first but found the selection box a quick and easy way to try out some other hot chocolates. The pouches are really convenient and quick to use and have encouraged us to order different hot chocolate tubes second time around but we still bought a selection box as we like it so much.”

“I thought I would try a selection box so that I know what to order when the Knoops Newcastle opens I wouldn't be able to make up my mind, what with all of the other additions to choose from too.... So far, my favourite is the 72% dark”

“A great way to discover which is one’s favourite! However I’m disappointed there’s no information (that I could find) about the ingredients, and to what extent any of the options are ‘healthy’. Surely that’s something you’d want to promote - if indeed it is healthy?”

“The taste is immaculate. I am having some trouble melting all the chocolate into the milk, but I will try on a higher flame next time. Pairs really well with spices such as star anise, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Makes for an excellent gift.”
