About KNOOPS:

Jens Knoop has had a strong relationship with chocolate since his childhood in rural Germany. In 2013, he decided to share his passion and opened the first Knoops store in Rye, East Sussex. Today, our expertly crafted chocolate drinks and coffee can either be prepared by one of our Knoopologists in store, or created by our customers themselves at home.

We are experts in the craft of creating the perfect drinking chocolate - a process we call 'Knoopology'. The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu, which offers a wide range of chocolates to suit all tastes. Our real chocolate flakes can be used with one of our hand-picked hot chocolate makers to create the unique Knoops experience at home.

“This was purchased as a gift so I can't comment on how well it works. However, I do not feel looks worth the price (especially when being given as a gift). I just hope the recipient is pleased and that it makes lovely chocolate.”

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Our shaker has an expandable lid that accommodates the pressure created when you shake hot liquid. The base of the shaker is double walled and also microwave safe (except the lid) so your whole drink - whether hot or cold - can be made using just one piece of equipment.

“Perfect hot choc everytime, so easy. Only way to make it better is recommended times to heat milk in microwave, took a bit of trial and error”
