About Kidvelo Bikes:

Kidvelo® Bikes is an exciting new brand launched in 2021, specialising in manufacturing kids' balance bikes, some which convert to lightweight pedal bikes. The founders are from two family businesses; the former official Strider Distributors, based in Australia and the UK. We had clear ideas born from 14 years of teaching children to ride, distributing thousands of balance bikes and listening to customers.

“Brilliant bike for my son. We struggled for a long time trying to get him riding a "normal" bike to the point where he wouldn't even want to get on it. This all changed with the Kidvelo bike. It's light weight of the bike and the geometry is set up such that it makes riding easy. He now enjoys getting on the bike and ride/balance for a period of 5 to 6 seconds!”

“An absolutely brilliant bike. It’s light, and easy to assemble and take apart again. We remove the front tyre to pop it in the car boot and it takes seconds to put it back on when we arrive at our destination. The reason we bought this bike is because it was a larger balance bike that could then be converted to use with pedals. My daughter had an operation on both feet, and has had to learn to cycle a bit later than normal, but being able to still learn on a balance bike first has been invaluable. Thank you, Kidvelo!”

“I have a very tall 5 year old boy who also has autism. We’ve bought 2 balance bikes but unfortunately just wasn’t interest in them and he ended up being too tall for them. I searched for bigger balance bikes just to see as I didn’t think your would get such a thing and Kidvelo Bikes came up and yes they are expensive but if you weight up the price of a balance bike then move onto a normal bike it works out just the same. My little boy always wants to go on his bike now where as before with other bikes he just didn’t want to take much interest in it. Highly recommend Kidvelo bikes. I love the idea of the balance bike then you can add the pedals. He loves his bike now.”
