About Kidvelo Bikes:

Kidvelo® Bikes is an exciting new brand launched in 2021, specialising in manufacturing kids' balance bikes, some which convert to lightweight pedal bikes. The founders are from two family businesses; the former official Strider Distributors, based in Australia and the UK. We had clear ideas born from 14 years of teaching children to ride, distributing thousands of balance bikes and listening to customers.

“My son, who is three years and eight months old, previously rode a 12-inch balance bike. I reached out to Karen, unsure of which size to purchase, and she proved exceptionally helpful. I opted for the 18-inch wheel, and although I initially anticipated it might be somewhat large upon arrival, I was entirely mistaken! My son commenced pedaling immediately; it was remarkably straightforward, and he absolutely adores it. Assembly was simple, and the bike is genuinely easy for my son to ride.”

“Previous bike felt/looked numb and heavy. Granddaughter just turned 3yrs old absolutely loves Kidvelo. It looks and feels light and nimble. She has mastered balancing, steering and braking without stabilisers Pedals will be fitted anytime soon.”

“I bought my son’s first bike from this company about three years ago , a balance bike , and it was excellent. The build quality was very impressive and it felt durable and well-made. Because of that experience, I was a big advocate for the brand and recommended it to others. Unfortunately, the second bike I recently purchased (the pedal bike) is a big disappointment. The quality is noticeably lower compared to the earlier bike. The metals, screws, and overall finish feel much cheaper, yet the price remains very high for a children’s bike. It’s disappointing to see such a drop in quality over the years. Sadly, after this purchase I can no longer recommend this brand.”

“Great bike and great service. Kidvelo have responded to queries and problems super speedy. We had a slight issue with a brake and they sent out the replacement part.”
