About Kidvelo Bikes:

Kidvelo® Bikes is an exciting new brand launched in 2021, specialising in manufacturing kids' balance bikes, some which convert to lightweight pedal bikes. The founders are from two family businesses; the former official Strider Distributors, based in Australia and the UK. We had clear ideas born from 14 years of teaching children to ride, distributing thousands of balance bikes and listening to customers.

“Thank heavens I found you. Thank you for making balance bikes for older kids and for understanding that some need more time, for various reasons. My son is VI and adored his previous bike, but it just got too small for him and we thought we were forced into the world of pedal bikes given that most manufacturers' balance ranges stopped. He was prohibitively scared of it so just stopped riding; something which brought so much joy and freedom to him. A neighbour was throwing out a stabiliser bike which we took in and it was great to see him happy again, but we knew it was best to avoid this route. I did some research and Kidvelo appeared too good to be true. I wish I could show you how happy and confident my boy is again. Hes faster than he has ever been and we have so miuch quality time together ripping around pump tracks or practicing on muddy bankings.”

“This bike is brilliant. Bought for my son's 5th birthday, he is yet to get to grips with pedaling so a balance bike that was the right size for him now, and with the ability to add the pedals when he is ready is just perfect. He loves it and we have had many admiring comments from friends who like the idea of getting one for their children. We hope to soon get another one for our daughter.”

“The bike itself is great, feels solid and well put together, bright colour which my son loves and is very light compared to others he's had which makes transport very easy. Going to a larger balance bike which can convert into a pedal bike wasn't something we'd considered but having done so very glad we did, it feels a very smooth transition and better than stabilisers, which get removed later.”

“The whole family fell in love with this bike after our son unwrapped it on his 7th birthday! Grandparents, parents and uncle have not stopped singing its praises. If only this existed when we all learnt to ride. It couldn’t be more prefect for our cautious boy who was not keen to get on a bike until now. We could not recommend this product more highly! Fantastic purchase.”
