About Kidvelo Bikes:

Kidvelo® Bikes is an exciting new brand launched in 2021, specialising in manufacturing kids' balance bikes, some which convert to lightweight pedal bikes. The founders are from two family businesses; the former official Strider Distributors, based in Australia and the UK. We had clear ideas born from 14 years of teaching children to ride, distributing thousands of balance bikes and listening to customers.

Kidvelo set out to manufacture top-quality, well-designed bikes for children and deliver them directly to our customers
All at very competitive pricing and backed up by our award-winning levels of customer support here in the UK.

The rookie 18 balance bike has been an absolute game changer for our son. He is developmentally delayed and struggles with the concept of pedals but finding a bike for suitable for his height and weight has proved very difficult. He got the bike for his 7th birthday and within a week he was whizzing around the local park full of confidence - and is always asking when he can next get out on it! We are really impressed with the quality of the bike, the vibrant colours available and the feature of adding pedals on when the time is right.

This is a brilliant bike. It arrived quickly and my child quickly picked up balancing as the bike is lightweight. Bike is well built and quality materials. Instructions are easy to follow and it has included tools needed for some of the steps.

My son will be getting this at Christmas but the bike is extremely well made and on par with other much more expensive lightweight bikes. It will be perfect for my som who has Development Coordination Disorder (dyspraxia)
