We brought a Kidvelo 18 bike for our 5 year old this Christmas. It was quick and easy to build with all tools needed included. It's amazing, it's lovely to see her confidence grow with the balance bike before adding on the pedals. Would highly recommend for anyone who is wanting to learn without using stabilisers

My granddaughter is absolutely delighted with her new balance bike and it won't be long and she will have the pedals fitted. She is 6 years old and it is her first experience riding a bike. I couldn't have made a better choice and I'm so pleased I found this bike on kidvelo bikes.

Our Autistic 8 year old son had had little success with balance bikes when he was younger as he simply wasnt ready to process all the elements. The Rookie 18 has given him the oportunity to ride at a time that was right for him. He is absolutely flying on it now and I'm sure it wont be long before he masters the pedals as well. Thank you so much Kidvelo, a fantastic bike for kids irrespective of their abilities.

Easy to assemble. Bike is a lovely colour. Nice and light to handle. Our son loves it - he usually takes a while to warm up to anything new but he got on and rode it straight away! It should last him a few years and the addition of the pedal kit will be handy should he ever progress from the balance bike to a pedal bike.

I can not recommend this bike enough. My son was a very cautious and nervous learner. In just a couple of months we have gone from literally walking with the bike between his legs to zooming off with pedal kit on. We are all very happy and proud. Could not have done it without this particular bike. A better way to learn than with stabilisers in my personal opinion. The attachment shows how he started off and how he is now.

The PERFECT bike for my 6 year old boy who has autism. He used a 6' bike for years and we wanted to find him one that was bigger and had the option of balance and pedals. After trying a few other bikes from other sites (and all were awful and returned in a week), We came across Kidvelo who are one of the only companies to focus on balance bikes for older children. And I have no complains what so ever! He loves the balance bike that he goes on it everyday! Haven't tried the pedals yet but he seems very keen so good to know we have that option when he is ready. The bike is made very well, really sturdy, high quality metal frame. Favourite part... is of cource the bell! Would recomend to any and every child with ADHA or autism as it makes them feel grown up with everyone else, and allows them to get condifence at their own pace! 5 out of 5 stars!! Thank you so much Kidvelo!!

This was a great bike for my daughter. Balance on a biker is not easy for her but it's such an easy bike for her to learn on. Fit the first time in my life I can go for a walk with her and every time she goes on it her balance gets better. Plus she will already be used to the bike when we add the pedals.

This bike is genius, we’ve had challenges with our 5 year old encouraging her to ride, the Rookie 18 gifted her with confidence straight away and she’s motivated to get to the pedalling stage this year! The online photos don’t do them justice, they are exceptionally high quality, well thought out geometry and nice attention to detail.
