About Kidvelo Bikes:

Kidvelo® Bikes is an exciting new brand launched in 2021, specialising in manufacturing kids' balance bikes, some which convert to lightweight pedal bikes. The founders are from two family businesses; the former official Strider Distributors, based in Australia and the UK. We had clear ideas born from 14 years of teaching children to ride, distributing thousands of balance bikes and listening to customers.

“I haven’t stopped kicking myself for not getting a Kidvelo 1.5 years ago. My then 2Y6M old was clearly keen on bikes, but the model I got him (at £40 cheaper) was only ever sat on twice, and never sparked his playful interest. Fast forward to his new Rookie 14, and what a revelation! My son held the bike upright by the handle, felt it roll on our wooden floor and immediately asked to try it outside. He’s spent a total of 4 hours on it so far, has discovered a love for speed and usually refuses to stop until he’s falling off the saddle. His dad, a keen cyclist, is already picturing them going off on cycling holidays together. I’m savouring the thought of perfectly blissful days with both of them away on their cycling holidays!”

“Great quality, my kid loves it! It’s everything I have been looking for and when we will grow out of it I am sure we will come back here for the next size. I also have a suggestion to help those that haven’t built a proper bike before :maybe link the online video in the assembly booklet as for me it was much easier to follow the video instructions.”

“I bought this for my 3.5 year old son for Christmas. He was absolutely over the moon with it. He’s had a smaller balance bike from the age of 2 which he was a pro on but had outgrown as he’s tall for his age. This balance bike is the perfect next step for him and he took to it straight away and went zooming off. I hope when we add the pedals further down the line it will be a smooth transition for him. It also looks super cool and the green is a very vibrant colour! Highly recommend this bike.”

“This is a super lightweight bike, and it is very easy for our little daugher to handle. This is her first bike. It is great way for her to learn pedalling as she now uses it as a balance bike. It seems to be easy and straightforward to do the conversion when the time comes. Our daugher is very excited about having this bike and she keeps asking us go to the park with it all the time. I'd think she'd score it 10/10!”
