About Kidvelo Bikes:

Kidvelo® Bikes is an exciting new brand launched in 2021, specialising in manufacturing kids' balance bikes, some which convert to lightweight pedal bikes. The founders are from two family businesses; the former official Strider Distributors, based in Australia and the UK. We had clear ideas born from 14 years of teaching children to ride, distributing thousands of balance bikes and listening to customers.

“This is a super lightweight bike, and it is very easy for our little daugher to handle. This is her first bike. It is great way for her to learn pedalling as she now uses it as a balance bike. It seems to be easy and straightforward to do the conversion when the time comes. Our daugher is very excited about having this bike and she keeps asking us go to the park with it all the time. I'd think she'd score it 10/10!”

“Perfect bike for our 5 year old. He’s on the smaller side (45cm inside leg), so we opted for the 14 over the 18. He chose the colour and loves it. Bike was relatively easy to build and any questions I had were answered straight away. He was already zooming around on a smaller balance bike, but wasn’t quite ready for pedals, so when we found Kidvelo, we were well chuffed. It’s a really good looking bike and everso light if you need to carry it. Hopefully he’ll be ready for pedals soon, but he’s enjoying being in balance bike mode for the time being. We also bought the blue and green junior helmet and they look great together.”

“My 4 year old loves his new bike! We'd previously struggled to get him interested in a bike, however he was so excited at the sight of his new Rookie 14 bike and can't wait to get the pedals on once he's mastered the balancing! (Which he's already getting good at now :))”

“My 6 year old loves his new bike & it's the perfect solution for him as he isn't confident enough for pedals yet but I didn't want to buy another balance bike to replace the 1 he has outgrown when he will be ready for pedals within 6-12 months. The bike is a perfect fit & has plenty of growing room (my 6 year old is only the size of an average 4 year old).”
