“Fantastic weekend away with friends celebrating myself and my husbands 40th birthdays. The house was big enough to host 19 of us with room to spare and was well equipped with all the day to day essentials. The location is perfect with the beach being only a 5 minute walk away.”

“This was our second stay here and both times we have really enjoyed the house and all it has to offer - the games room is our favourite. Both times we had more bedrooms than people and I think if the house was full the space downstairs would be a bit tight - we could only comfortably sit 12 around the kitchen table and the dining room table only seats around 20. Since our first stay there must have been some issues with messy guests - I counted 10 cleaning notices in the 2 kitchens! Have many happy memories and would jump at the chance of another weekend at the Manor.”

“The best thing about Middle Chine Manor is the location. It really is 5 minutes walk to the beach and the use of the beach hut was a bonus. The house was clean and the beds comfortable. The cinema room and the games room were well used and enjoyed by all our party who ranged in age from 9 months to 73 years! Unfortunately one of the cookers was out of use and the washing machine broke while we were there. We were able to use the caretakers washing machine but had to manage with one cooker. They should be repaired by now. In spite of this we had a wonderful week.”

“The accommodation was perfect for our family group with plenty of options with the games and cinema room for the younger members. Bedrooms well appointed. Garden and BBQ area excellent and laid out ready for us. We made good use of the Beach hut too. Some of the kitchen areas (mainly Fridge/freezers) could do with being updated. Also it would be lovely if some of the windows opened more easily!!”

“Huge house in excellent location. We were a party of 16 adults and 3 children and there was bags of room for everyone. Really nice to have a lounge and dining room large enough to seat everyone. Lots of equipment in kitchen too although it took us a while to find everything. We catered for everyone on the three nights we stayed, ovens were a bit temperamental but it's always difficult working with equipment you're not used to. House decor is a bit eclectic and although overall appearance is perhaps a bit shabby once you've been in the house a while you begin to pick out some really nice bits and pieces. This didn't put us off however as the house is nice and clean and we do intend to return. Location really is fantastic, right next to a beautiful stretch of beach and it's possible to walk for miles along the seafront in both directions (also great for exercising the dog). You are also near a children's playground and the garden is a good size and secure. Couple of suggestions for the owners, get plates that fit in the dishwasher (they are too large to be stacked upright) and perhaps splash out on some new towels.”

“A brilliant family reunion, 18 of us including 9 children. The house is so big there was plenty of room for everyone. A very interesting house, you had the feeling you could hide away for a year and no one would find you. Needless to say the children aged 4-12 years also had a wonderful time.”
