“Excellent venue for our 50th birthday celebrations. Plenty of room for people to spread out and the games room and cinema room means that children are never bored. Great location with a 2-3 minute walk to the beach.”

“We enjoyed the size of the house - having lots of rooms was ideal as we wanted everyone to have their own bedrooms. The heating was good - the house never got cold. The garden was lovely and sound did not travel at all which meant people could go to bed early not be woken up. However, we had some concerns about the following: Beds - several beds had broken slats or bases so were very uncomfortable/noisy Hot water - the showers were very inconsistent in temperature and would spit out boiling hot water mid shower, which was very unpleasant Supplies - there were hardly any toilet paper/kitchen towel/bin bags/dishwasher tablets left in the house to accommodate a weeks stay. I did text the house keeper but she only came by on the second the last day. We therefore had to buy supplies ourselves which is hardly ideal. Cinema room - the projector up there was broken which was disappointing Games room - the pool table is in a terrible state and all the ques were without tips which made playing pretty impossible!”

“A lovely big house in a great location. A leafy pedestrian only path down to the beach and a handy beach hut to leave bags etc in if you want to venture into the town centre. The cinema room was a hit. The property could do with some maintenance; a number of beds were uncomfortable, the second dishwasher has a broken rack, the plates are too big for the dishwasher (a few cheap plates would help), we also had an issue with noisy boiler at night in one of the bedrooms.”

“We had a great time again at Middle Chine Manor! Lots of room - the playroom is a real boost – love the dining room - lovely garden – great beach house & all so near the sea. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The caretaker was very helpful – we had a couple of minor issues & he dealt with them straight away – much appreciated! As you’re asking for feedback, we did find that quite a few of the beds were quite uncomfortable – so much so that some slept on the floor(!) - & several of the beds are extremely soft. It would also be helpful to have some markings on the cooker in the main kitchen – very difficult to work out the setting you want. There was also a problem with a channel wire or something missing in the cinema room so that we were unable to watch dvd’s there – the sound kept going. I’m not techie but can find out the problem if you wish. Perhaps someone your end could just check it out. Other than that it all worked really well. We would like to come to Middle Chine again – probably in 2019 - hopefully the beds will have been updated by then...”

“We visited Middle Chine Manor last week and all had a brilliant time. There were 20 of us ranging from 85 - 6. The younger ones made good use of the games room and cinema room. There is plenty of space both inside and in the garden. We loved the beach hut which saved time leaving the buckets etc there. All the rooms were spacious and well furnished. The kitchen had enough utensils to make anything you wanted to. The weather was lovely which made it a lovely family holiday”

“This is a great venue for a big family party. The house is in a super location with a great games room where we lost some of our party for most of the week end, and just so close to the long sandy beach with a lovely beach hut to keep the picnic sand free. The service we got from Kate and toms was superb. Helpful and friendly always and making every effort to ensure our stay was stress free. We did have a problem on the Saturday morning but one quick phone calll to Kate and Tom and it was sorted. thanks.”
