“16 of us (plus one baby) had a brilliant weekend in Churchill Wood. The house is extremely well equipped for such a big group, it even has two dishwashers and fridges! The beds were so comfortable and the layout worked well for us. We found that there were a number of walks you could do from the door (an OS map of the local area is also provided) and you could easily walk along the wide road verge to the Marsh Hare Inn which is a lovely local pub. The food is extremely reasonable and tasty. I am very happy with the whole experience of booking through Kate and Tom's and staying in Churchill Wood. We will be back to a Kate and Tom property again!”

“We are a family scattered all over the UK, so we all got together for a weekend in this gorgeous house.Not one of us wanted to leave, it was so comfortable. It catered for all of us, the 2 and 4 year olds with their own playroom, wendy house, swings and slides to the adults. We had a chef cook for us from dineindulge who provided us with a scrumptious feast. Cannot recommend the whole experience enough.”

“Amazing farmhouse! Secluded but lovely pub 2 mins drive down the road. We travelled with small children and the house is completelty safe, fenced all the way around and gated so even the most adventurous child couldn't escape! Beautiful setting and beautifully decorated. All 17 of us said we would happily book here again x”

“Myself and my family of 14 spent 5 fantastic days at Churchill Wood Farmhouse to celebrate my husband's and my Golden Wedding. The house was spectacular, immaculately clean and spacious and each family had a floor and a bathroom of their own which was perfect. We arranged for an outside caterer to come and cook a meal for us one night by way of a special celebration and all males in our party wore their DJs and ladies cocktail dresses and the night was unforgettable. The spotless hot tub was a wow with adults and grandchildren alike and I wouldn't hesitate to use Kate and Tom's again in the future. I am delighted I have discovered such an efficient and caring company. The enormous enclosed garden was perfect for our six grandchildren to play in safely and they spent many happy hours doing so. Thank you K & T.”

“The house is well-appointed, comfortable, warm and welcoming, with more than enough space for everyone. We thought this house probably had more, and better quality, cutlery, crockery and utensils than any other house we have rented in the UK.”

“Gorgeous property & a good size for a big family party. Nice bedrooms & bathroom. Attractive living rooms full of character with the two wood burners. The snug is lovely & bright for the morning cuppa. The kids room adjoined to the Lounge is the perfect place to set up the Xbox. The table football & air hockey table in the Conservatory a fun extra. Kitchen/Breakfast room spacious & the Aga is fun to cook on. Lovely grounds & ample parking. Heating very good although radiators on the top floor didn't work well. Property very clean. Everyone really enjoyed the weekend. Highly recommend.”

“Beautiful property which was very spacious for our big group and extremely well equipped. The only areas that let it down slightly were the bathrooms which aren't quite the same high spec as other areas of the house like the kitchen.”
