“Churchill wood was a fantastic property for a family get together, three generations under one roof. The property was big enough for us all to have our own space as well as endearing to be very cosy. It was home from home, and we were sorry to leave such a divine place full of character and charm.”

“Had a fabulous stay at the house for my brothers 40th birthday. Beautiful huge garden with tables and chairs near the hot tub and BBQ so the family could all be together admiring the fantastic views. My only gripe would be the childrens wendy house and swing and slide set also in the garden. They were filthy and looked as though they hadnt been cleaned for years. I had my 2 year old with me but there was no way that I would allow him in the wendy house due to the state of it. Why have it there if you cant be bothered to clean it????”

We will pass this on to the house manager so they can ensure that this is fixed for all future guests. Again we are so sorry for this, but I hope you had a wonderful stay despite this. “Churchill Wood was an excellent venue for our company house party -arranged as a change from our usual Christmas get together. The accommodation was ideal and the beds very comfortable. The sun shone and we were able to sit outside drinking champagne in and around the hot tub before Saturday dinner provided by Jack's Kitchen ( also recommended as caterers). An ideal venue for a weekend social event.”

“We had a wonderful time with our children and eight grandchildren. There was everything we needed and more. The house was beautiful yet very comfortable and relaxing to be in. The hot tub was a hit with us all as was the garden and games room. We have very precious memories which we will all treasure.”

“The house was amazing, so spacious with plenty of room and yet still wonderfully cosy. We really enjoyed each and every room, and the hot tub was the perfect addition to a chilly winter weekend. It was equipped with more than we could have asked for. We are already hoping to come back sometime next year!”

“We were a large group of family members and found the facilities at Churchill Wood house felt like a home away from home. It easily accommodates a large group without feeling crowded. I would highly recommend staying there and would do so again.”
