Under the section Indirect Discrimination, an example is provided (page 3 of 7) which highlights how a change in shift pattern can indirectly discriminate against mothers with small children. Whilst this is true, it fails to inform that it is not only mothers with small children, but fathers or carers too (regardless of age). I consider this stereotyping.

Dear Gary Thanks very much for the feedback on the Equality and Diversity course. You are of course correct that changing shift patterns can be a problem for anybody - mothers, fathers, carers of old people and so on. The point we are aiming to make on this page is that a management decision can indirectly make life more difficult for a specific group of people who have a protected characteristic under the Equality Act. We will discuss as a team how we can make that clearer on this page. Thanks again, your feedback is very useful. Regards, i2Comply team
