“Refurbished are like new. Wasn’t sure at first because it is sluggish to respond to remote button presses, but I’m quite fond because it’s like me. A bit more complicated to use compared with YouView. I’m ok but I don’t think that my Mum would like it.”
“The unit arrived well packed and in excellent condition. Functionally it operates well with very good picture quality and I generally found it is quite easy and intuitive to use. I did find some of the menus a little slow to react and the unit does get allot warmer than I was expecting.”
“Although the performance of my new Humax is good and I like the opportunity to record more programmes, I find the management of it much less straightforward. The form of the guide is less clear, recording much more laborious, and I am still trying to find out how to record programmes over the next week when I might be away. If I could combine the performance of my new model with the ease of managing my old, I would be very happy. The handbook is not much help and the remote is certainly not intuitive.”
