“This machine records 4 channels in excellent quality. That is the good point and perhaps the reason for 4 stars. However it gets 2 stars for human interface. It is a mess compared with the earlier Humax machines. I am happy to expand but suffice to say it has a very untidy outdated menu system.”
“Ordering was easy and delivery was prompt. The Humax was easy to set up and does what it says on the label. Sadly I have to mark it down for the ludicrous positioning of the LED status indicator lights. They are stuck underneath the unit in a recess that makes it virtually impossible to see the glow. I had to make up a reflector out of a piece of hollow plastic and some translucent tubing to refract the light - not very satisfactory but at least we can now see whether the unit is on, off or recording - just.”
