“This is the most infuriating gadget I have EVER bought. To use it for live TV I normally have to unplug the power cable and hard reboot the FVP-500T it is linked to every 24 to 48 hours.
To use it to watch recording from the FVP-500 I cannot fast forward otherwise it just stops playback.
It is supposed to be for multi-room experience - well it is of a sort as you have to use both rooms every time!”

“First thing, it's so tiny, not a complaint I was just surprised.
I had to get help from a lovely lady at HUMAX, she fixed my tv which I couldn't connect to the internet, suddenly my original box became fantastic with 3 years of upgrades I'd missed, then she helped me connect the little box.
Pro's - I can go to bed and watch stuff I've recorded in the living room, I can watch all the tv channels that are on the lounge box.
Cons - it will freeze halfway through a recording or tv program, I find it annoying trying to get to change channels as you don't have an ordinary remote.
All in all I think it's great, I will still land up buying another recorder at a later date, but as I only use it in bed for a couple of hours it's fine”
“No free catch-up TV via PVR.
When resuming after pausing a recording on the PVR it does not resume at the place paused but at a point later in the recording.
Sometimes when fast forwarding a recording on the PVR, the app stops and does not always resume from the point where it stopped.”
“H3 boxes are a major problem.
Support is very difficult to get, takes about 20 to 30 mins holding on the phone. After several attempts to fix the H3 Humax confessed they did not work (not just mine but all of them!) and should be returned for a full refund.
Good job I bought them from Humax direct, if I had bought them from Currys I would still be arguing with them now
