“Very good bit of kit, but then Humax always has been. Very easy to install where our old one use to be ( no record on that one but still works well) put a second feed up to the dish and it records on two channels without a problem. Remote works ok and easy to navigate programs after getting use to.”
“This is a great machine. The functionality is much improved from the last Humax machine I bought (which was a long time ago!). Neat little box. Plenty of storage for recording shows. Price pretty good. What is not to like?”
“Having had a 2 TB Humax before, which eventually died on me I decided to get another but a smaller one, because I never used more that 10% of the capacity.
I am very pleased with this one except that there is No Display on it, so you do not know what channel it is on, or whether it is recording, or not. Apart from that is does all the things that the bigger one did and extremely well.”
“This is our fourth Humax, three of which are still working on various TVs in the house. They are mostly very reliable and not as quirky as other makes of satellite box we have used.”
“Humax have taken a good all rounder in the Foxsat and "blown it" with this new series. No screen on the box, no indication of what is happening , its all on the TV screen in a non intuitive format. Too many "bells and whistles". If you are replacing a Foxsat model, keep the old "remote" controller as it is easier to use. Nice picture still, but thats all. The "Set-up" will not work unless you press the "ACCEPT" icon in order to allow them to use your personal viewing habits and data .”
