“Very pleased with my Humax HDR-1100S Refurbished, absolutely everything was included as new, in fact the user manual, remote and accessories were factory sealed, only the main unit had been repackaged in a plain box.
Bought this Humax Freesat+ box to replace Sky+ HD, a very simple process to just swap out the Sky box and plugin the Humax box, and I was up and running in no time at all.
Great replacement for Sky+ with a lot of similar features, TV Guide, Planner, Showcase, Catch up, etc, plus a phone app as well. Not quite as fast or smooth as a Sky+ HD box and not quite as many features, but it doesn't cost £500 a year subscription either, so it's exceptionally good value for money and a more than capable replacement for Sky+.
It's been around 6 weeks since I've had this and I'm still very pleased with it, it's worked flawlessly so far, and I don't really miss Sky. I would definitely recommend a Humax HDR-1100S and a refurbished unit saved a few quid extra to, and apart from the plain packaging I couldn't tell the difference anyway.

“This machine is not as efficient as our previous one. It frequently stops when playing iplayer and I have to press the play button to restart it. I havery also had to contact Customer Services as the machine kept stopping and displayed a "serious error". They assisted me in resetting the machine.”
