“Excellent Service I had ordered the wrong Box but once I realised the problem, I spoke to Humax and they could not have been more helpful and the new one was sent the next day and the incorrect box was picked up the day following and the Credit was in my account within 7 days.

“This recorder was exactly as described and good value for money.
The hard drive is big enough to record hundreds of tv programs, it was easy to set up and was easily connected to the TV and working within a few minutes. Well worth purchasing.”
“This machine works well, however, nothing is perfect and I would like to see the indicator lights at the front than rather than underneath. I have made a simple cradle which raises the front and makes it easier to see the operating state. It taken me a while to get used to the menu but I'm getting there. My original antenna only had a single co-ax feed but I now have new one with four feeds, two to the box and one to the TV and a spare. This set-up means I can watch TV with the box switched off, although the channel numbers are different from the published ones. Yes, I can recommend this device.

“Purchase didn't start too well as I wasn't informed that a signature would be required on delivery but WAS given the opportunity of adding delivery instructions. I said leave in porch and went out so missed the delivery on Friday and had to wait for redelivery on Monday! The installation went well and was soon connected to internet and box tuned in. This item was bought to replace an ageing Humax Foxsat which has served me well for years but has been misbehaving of late by missing planned recordings for no obvious reasons. I also own an old Humax Freesat box so am familiar with their products. Which brings me to my two disappointments. Firstly I don't like the way the TV guide is displayed with Now and Next programs listed and appearing like they all start and end at the same time! Please bring back the PM style display where where these times are showed in relation to time so it is obvious where overlaps occur and make it easier to select accordingly. Secondly they have removed the ability to create custom folders. TV series recordings are stored together but it's now not possible to say, store all movies in a "Movie" folder but instead you get all non-series recordings just listed in date order. Both these changes to their previous software are a backward step in my opinion. Other than that, the GUI is well presented and attractive, and no missed recordings so far. Putting the PSU in a separate box has made the footprint much smaller than previous models which is a plus point. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase but have to dock one star because of the aforementioned retrograde changes to the software.”
“Rubbish. It freezes and doesn’t respond regularly. Factory reset made no difference hence returned for full refund. We agreed a collection date but the courier didn’t turn up and emails to Humax haven’t been responded to. All in all I won’t be buying another Humax product and will be sharing my experience with as many people as possible.”
“Looks as new. Bought for a friend and am very pleased as it has resolved a HD channel reception problem. It provides easy recording as well as access to catch-up apps, some of which are no longer working on her smart Samsung Blu-ray player.”
