“Good value for money. It takes a little time to warm up so to speak but that’s not a problem for me. The folder system of recordings has to be learnt. Picture quality is excellent and after learning where all the buttons are on the remote it’s a good piece of kit and meets my needs.”
“It was delivered the day after I ordered it.I bought a brand new over a year ago and liked it so I wanted to get another one for another room.This refurbished one looks and works just as well as my brand new one.I've had it for a month and use it everyday for watching live tv and timer recordings.Both of my recorders haven't made any errors so far.The only problem I've found is that when watching a recording with the subtitles turned on is that the subtitles usually start to run ahead of the video.I get them back in sync by pressing pause,rewind or stop and then play.Both of my recorders do this so it must be an inbuilt flaw.”

I have bought refurbished products from Humax before, both for me (years ago and this recent purchase) and as a gifts for friends. A total of five machines over 9 years - all have served well but the earlier purchases that have been in constant use now falter at times. If the newly purchased ones perform and last as long as the earlier purchases I shall be more than happy. I prefer the operating system of the older PVRs because it was simpler to understand. However, I have now come to terms with the new operating method and no doubt will get used to it.”
