“I have had another Humax (twin tuner) for about 2 years, and this one was for a second home. All the controls are the same on both models and I think the EPG and Freetime are excellent. I knew that this model didn't have a built in Hard Drive, but I was a bit disappointed to find that a USB Memory Stick will not work. I have 2 other Freesat Boxes, and they will both record to a Memory Stick. I've now purchased a Hard Drive and that works OK.”

“The only difference between a new one and the refurbished item we bought seems to be the price and it comes in a plain white box. Otherwise it works and looks just like another HB-1000S box we have. So far it's all good.”
