Welcome to the fold Real Steel Heinnie Haynes® Luna Red G10. This lovely little UK carry folder joins the ever increasing collaborations between Heinnie Haynes and some of the best knife manufacturers in the world.
The Luna was a winner as soon as Real Steel brought it out, it's impressive streamlined and functional design made it a very popular choice with users and collectors alike. Now it has been given the Heinnie treatment with the handsome red G10 handle. And of course it is non-locking with a sub three inch blade so can be carried in the UK.
The blade is made from D2 which incredibly sharp out of the box and is a hard resilient steel so won't need sharpening very often. It has a pocket clip and lanyard hole for carry options and to customise.

Not as good as people say, the blade wasn't very sharp right out of the box, and the clip lasted three months—just snapped off while I was wearing it clipped to my pocket, and it's not replaceable as there is no screw. Keeping in mind the fact that you need to buy a thumb stud separately for an extra £10, I believe it's not the best offer out there.

I was really impressed with this Luna, really smooth action when opening and closing with minimal effort required. It feels very safe to use as long as you put your first finger on the jimping behind the blade and your thumb on the opposite side on the top spine as this helps to prevent any accidental closing.I gave this as a gift to my older sister as she wanted her first edc for whatever cutting adventures she may need it for such as packaging etc. she was very pleased with the looks and functionality and has carried it in her pocket since receiving it.Great service from Heinnie Haynes as usual.

A UK legal EDC with a great shape to the very sharp blade. The slip joint is nice and stiff so requires a bit of pressure to close which is good news, so you are less likely to close the knife on your fingers. Would benefit from a thumb stud as standard, but is an optional extra but that then bumps up the price. Over all a great EDC

Bought back in April 2024 and really love this knife. D2 steel really is so easy to keep day to day and have barely noticed it in my pocket. I do think the secondary metals could be better quality however. Within 3 months the pocket clip snapped and now approximately 18 months later the metal spring lock has completely sheared meaning the knife is now essentially useless.

I bought the Black and Brass version about a year ago. With the brass pocket clip it looks just like a pen when in a shirt pocket. The weight is low enough that I usually carry it like that, or clipped between the buttons on a work shirt under a tie, or with no tie. Never had anyone ask why I have an EDC with me. Have nicked the blade in a few places cutting wires etc. Not too difficult to repair the edge and it is always sharp. Just pressing the blade against my jeans to fully open it one handed has made a bunch of cuts into the fabric - need to use a thumb stud. One thing I had not expected is just how pointy the point is, be careful, as it is too easy to stab yourself. I bought a Boker Plus XS as I thought it would be a better EDC. It is awesome in every way, but the extra weight (107g v 50g) means it is a trouser pocket carry. The XS pocket clip leaves about an inch of the knife exposed when in a pocket, while the Luna is a true deep carry. Having it with you is the point of an EDC, so the Luna is a winner.

A fantastic design and an extremely light weight choice. The pocket clip is deep carry, and the blade thickness is very slim. Superb ergonomics and great safety with knurling on the blade. At such a competitive price, what are you waiting for?
