4.9 Rating 11 Reviews
Read Heinnie Haynes Reviews

Named after the infamous Drop Bear of Australian lore, the Kizer Drop Bear Clutch Aluminium Black delivers excellent edge retention, and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for heavy cutting applications. The top of the blade is designed to be non-slip, and the shape of the blade is also spot on for everyday use in the toughest environments.
The handle material used is aluminum alloy. It is comfortable and neutral meaning amenable to any kind of grip. In addition there is a black holding clip at the handle.
The black bladed version features a purple anodised thumb stud.

10/10 on this knife. Action is incredible, detent is perfect and it's snappy from opening with either a thumb flick or reverse flick. Clutch lock is solid with no play in any direction and it's super smooth on the close. Blade shape is perfect for any job, factory edge is hair popping and makes light work of anything. I've got this in my work bag and it's gone through cable ties, rope, Cat5 and cardboard with ease

I have been interested in this knife since it was released, so whenn Heinnie released it I had to have it. As an owner of the Hogue Deka (two actually) with the Able lock, I knew what I was getting into with the "Clutch Lock". Just like the Deka, the Drop Bear has a safe and fidgety opening mechanism with the two methods of opening, the thumb stud and the cross bar. Unlike the Deka, The DB uses ceramic bearings in the pivot, Kizer's being smooth as ever. It also has a unique (as far as I am aware) feature in that the spring has five settings on each side in which the tension can be adjusted. You can also mix and match settings and you don't have to take the knife fully apart to change it. Big plus. The scales have a matte finish to them meaning thay are not shiny smooth and have that "dry" feeling to them. The knife came sharp out the box, just like my last kizer. A bag of extra hardware (T6 scale screws, as well as an extra set of springs) was included. No case and the microfibre cloth is on the small side, not the end of the world. As always, fast delivery and quick dispatch from Heinnie.

First kizer just ordered another cracking knife good steel I usually edc benchmade, but this is so smooth lovely lock up centered, I have been collecting knifes for years and if I found the price abit hard to swallow on a benchmade, I'd recommend giving this a go really nice quality plus spare lock springs cleaning cloth love it.

Lots of hype around this knife. It's a nice knife. Decent action. Again delivered very dull and needed work to make usable. Seems decent quality but doesn't immediately feel like it in the hand. Only time will tell

This knife has the best action I've ever experienced. It flicks open easily, with the lovely purple anodised thumb stud (black version), but I prefer to swing open, using the ultra smooth "clutch lock" The drop, is simply incredible. It also comes extremely sharp, out of the box and is a joy to use.My only criticism, is the aluminium handles could do with a bit of texturing, to help grip. That said, it is far better than my Benchmade's and my most used locking knife. Kizer have knocked this out of the park and I can't recommend it highly enough.

I'm no knife expert, or even collector, but I LOVE this little knife! Sharp enough out of the box and not too imposing. Some people have stress balls and others those strange swingy ball office stress relievers. Me? I've got the Keizer Drop Bear. SO fl**ky and fiddly I hardly ever put it down… no really… hardly ever!I just love it ?
