Named after the infamous Drop Bear of Australian lore, the Kizer Drop Bear Clutch Aluminium Black delivers excellent edge retention, and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for heavy cutting applications. The top of the blade is designed to be non-slip, and the shape of the blade is also spot on for everyday use in the toughest environments.
The handle material used is aluminum alloy. It is comfortable and neutral meaning amenable to any kind of grip. In addition there is a black holding clip at the handle.
The black bladed version features a purple anodised thumb stud.

Kizer has done it yet again with another excellent piece of work. The drop bear is one of the smoothest actions I have felt out of the box with out having to do anything at all in the way of putting your own tickle of oil on the action or tweaks on the pivot. It's stupid smooth the lock is absolutely perfect not a hint of movement in any direction at all, totally solid lock up but as soon as you slid it back the blade swings as free as a bird on the wing! I would go as far as to say it makes some Benchmades seem like they are sticky honestly it's rather hard to believe how freely the blade moves. The 154 blade's grind is bang on and nice and sharp SOTB fit and finish is beautiful and one of the joys of this piece is when you strip it down just pop the pivot and back screw and the scale comes free letting you get access to the guts of the knife where you will find the omega spring adjustment holes and incredibly easy oiling access without what can be a bit of a hassle on benchmade knives if your not that great at tinkering all in all this is a excellent piece of work that any benchmade fan will surely appreciate.

This is so nice a handsome well built knife, great for slicing. I'm having hours of fun fiddling. Don't play with knives, boys. Find a responsible adult. Not me.The locking mechanism is smooth and adjustable. Take off the scales and you can adjust the springs in five positions and change the ctensikn. There are spares in the box. My favourite knife yet and I love them all

I have had my eye on the Drop Bear for a while and am so pleased that i finally bought it. The fit and finish is spot on, the action is fantastic and it looks even better in the flesh. Great price and service from Heinnie as well. The only tiny negative is that the handle is easy to mark. Simply draging a finger nail will leave a line. That being said, it rubs off pretty easily. So not a big deal. Very happy to recommend.
