The Kizer Sheepdog Mini is superb design from the knife designer and maker Chris Conaway AKA "Sheepdog Knives".
It's a cracking little knife with plenty of attitude and loads of personality! This version has a blackwash blade and a black micarta handle. It is built to use and, of course, features a Sheepsfoot blade. The micarta ensures it will only look better with age and use plus the blade has a cut out for one handed opening.
The blade is non-locking and under 7.6cm (three inches) long making it legal to carry in the UK at the owner's discretion.
The mechanism is precisely made giving a degree of resistance in the open position.

“Sharp "out of the box", nice looking sheepsfoot blade, I nearly lost it the first time my brother noticed it.Build quality is good and feels great in the hand Opening one handed is easy, closing may be a little to easy.It comes at a good priceHH's service was good as always”

“A fantastic design with great attention to detail. Deep carry pocket clip, amazingly smooth bearings, good retention with the double detent, smooth edges at the thumb hole and on the micarta. And looks brilliant. Bad sides? Pocket clip is very stiff though not abrasive, and grip ergonomics seem to favour using the aft of the blade for index finger placemat, though little protection to prevent slippage further forwards like eg in a spyderco. Still not bad enough an issue for 4 stars.”

“Firstly, I love the design; this is a lovely looking knife. The blade shape is handsome, no complaints with the fit and finish, plus the micarta is easy on the eye and great in the hand. The action however is absolutely spot-on, just right … superb! A double-detent UK legal that's not only secure in use but opens and closes with panache. This is a knife punching well above its price point.Bravo Kizer, and thank you Heinnie, nicely done folks”

“This is a very nice knife...Well made, good looking and sturdy...The slip joint is not as stiff as I would normally like, but it is easy to operate and the blade is razor sharp...It has gone straight into my EDC rotation, and I will definitely be buying more Kizer products...Great service from HH, as usual...”

“As soon as I saw this knife on my Heinnie email, I had to order it! I'm a huge fan of darker, less shiny blades for discrete UK use. The detent action is really nice. Easily flickable into the open position with a medium strong "lock up" (not actually locking of course). Size wise, very similar to the HH Pilar. The micarta is really nicely done too.”
