The Boker Plus "Out the Front" Full Auto Comb is a tactical beard comb. Repeat, it's a tactical beard comb. But for fans of engineering and mechanical excellence the OTF comb is the biggest thing to happen to beards since beards became a thing!
Modelled on the handle of the famous Kalashnikov rifle bayonet it features a rock solid operation using the Boker Kalashnikov mechanism manufactured by Cobratech for a lightning groom. The blackwashed, D2 carbon steel comb flies out and is ready to take your unkemptness to task. And at the slide of a button it flies back in.
The precision mechanism combines springs and latches to cleverly hold the "blade" in place and allows engagement and disengagement at a flick of the switch. “It's basically just the Boker OTF Switchblade and all they've done is replace the blade with a D2 steel comb . There's a little blade play but this is entirely normal with an OTF . I actually think it's very well priced . Fantastic fun and very addictive . Think I might buy another before the knee jerk UK government decide to ban it .”

“I live in the Czech Republic and own the Boker kalshnikov otf knife its legal here to own and carry so when i saw this comb i had to have one on arrival today i opened it up to see the insides . It has the exact same mechanism as the knife i am very impressed it has a serial number the same as any Boker plus knife the comb is made of D2 steel so it would be possible to grind a cutting edge if you so desired. I might try to purchase a replacement dagger twin edge blade for it direct from Boker.de in the future but at the moment i will play with it comb my hair and enjoy it thanks Heinnie for the fast shipping . I would recommended this to any one with hair to comb the build quality is excellent my next knife is a Keyshaw livewire auto otf”

“Well built, everything appears to be the same as an actual Boker Kalashnikov OTF. Definitely the first D2 Steel comb I own. I'm glad it's not a gimmicky, cheap item, I'm quite fond of a fidget item and this absolutely ticks the box. Already a conversation starter within hours of owning it.Small note, it did take firing and retracting it a few times before it would do it with no issue at all. Not an issue, just grab the "blade", pull it all the way out, then retract, fire... rinse and repeat until it fires and retracts with no issue.”

“If your fortunate enough to have handled a OTF from Boker you will realise this is a quality with a quality mechanism, based on the AK47 chassis this will last, its a shame people do not know what they are dealing with or ever had experience with OTFs because if you know you know. Well done Heinnies for a real quirky quality German piece.”

“Brilliant and great for a magnificent beard like mine. The only reason I didn't give the full 5 stars is based on the comb teeth a little harsh and can damage hair! Other than that, it's a well made and a fun talkative groom piece!”
