Boker Plus Worldwide Folding Knife Reviews

4.1 Rating 9 Reviews
Read Heinnie Haynes Reviews

Increasingly strict laws that govern the carrying of knives continue to restrict the choices available for those who wish to carry and use a knife and abide with UK law. The Boker Plus Worldwide - based on a design by Chad Los Banos - represents a configuration whose features pass legal carry requirements in most countries.
The slipjoint knife has a very strong spring to ensure safe operation even without a locking mechanism, a feature further enhanced by the pronounced 90° stop of the blade. Steel liners and Zytel scales form the handle that carries the four-way clip and lanyard hole for carry options.

This is a beast of a knife, razor sharp and as near a locking knife as you can get, this will not close on your fingers , very safe. Definitely recommend.

Gone is the safety of the strong slip joint which protected one's fingers against the blade shutting on them, a great shame. Those reviews on here who mention getting knicked fingers from shutting are just not using the correct technique which is to keep fingers well clear while shutting it to the 90 degree position (half closed) then reposition one's hands and shut the remaining 90 degrees to the fully shut position.

Heavy duty and nicely made.Opening and closing is very difficult and jumpy.

It's a great knife, but just impossible to open with damp outdoors hands... the Lanksy is a better knife but not nearly as pretty

iT is criminal that locks are no longer allowed on knives, I still have wide scars on three fingers of my left hand due to a slipjoint knife closing on them when only a boy.Locks should be seen as safety mechanisms, if criminals want a ** they will always find them eg **.a small stick sharpened to a point will *** more easily than a locked knife, as colleagues of mine in the speciql forces will attest.

Fantastic EDC knife for us folk over here in the UK; compact, holds a wonderful edge, and massively versatile when required for day to day use. The action was very stiff when first used, but with a little perseverance and a dab of lubrication, it's a joy to use. I carry it everywhere now.

Feels great in the hand. Agree with some reviews about the tension in opening the blade. Even though it's an EDC, I personally wouldn't use this as a regular knife carrier. There are easier one handed knives out there so this will probably remain in its presentation box which is a shame because it's such a good looking knife.
