“I purchased this product to use alongside a flea and tick powder, so treating from the outside as well as the in. The spray has an etrememly strong smell of cedar and even though I sprayed only a small amount along the top line of my dogs back it made my dog sneeze quite bad and he did not like it. Which is quite unusual since my dog is used to all sorts of sprays for his coat. The smell did wear off quite quickly however I felt it left my dogs coat feeling dry. My dog is a show dog and I bought it to use when showing since he his mixing with allot of dogs, however I don;t think I could use it for this purpose due to it turning his soft silky coat into feeling quite dry. Whether it repelled fleas I therefore can;t say because I have not used it long enough. However if the smell of cedar repells fleas then it will most probably work.”

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the cedar scent made your dog sneeze. The smell is a pleasant smell but can initially be quite strong particularly for sensitive dogs, so best sprayed away from the head upon first application. It's good to know that the scent wore off quickly. Thank you also for your feedback about your dog’s coat. It is difficult to get that balance between finding something that repels fleas and yet still allows your dog to have that beautiful, silky, shiny, soft coat for shows. “As described, it seems to do a better job than majority of flea sprays I've tried in the past. Very happy with the product and will be buying more and maybe a few other products I've seen on the site.”
