Not best timing— I have used this for years and no problem. Unfortunately one of the two bottles I recently purchased has been leaking when I spray. I have been advised to change spray part of bottle to see if that helps. Lost so much due to leaking

Hi Senga, Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. We are sorry to hear that one of your two bottles is leaking. We appreciate that this is frustrating and have been in dialogue with you to help resolve this matter. This does sometimes happen, and it is an occasional manufacturing problem with the nozzle. We agreed that we could send you a replacement nozzle, but as you already had a spare bottle, you would try the spray attachment from that one to see if the problem resolved. I will follow up with you to ensure that this issue is resolved. Kind regards, Ellie

My dogs unfortunately caught fleas from a friend’s dog (we think!) and as I don’t like to use chemicals, we brought this spray. It didn’t kill any fleas on contact that we could tell, but it may be of more use in repelling fleas and ticks to jump on in the first place. Therefore don’t recommend as a treatment but more of a preventative I think.

Very strong smelling but happy to overlook that as it's the only natural spray we've used that actually works. I've seen bugs fly towards my dog then fly away, and one rogue flea even jumped off. Absolutely amazing stuff.

Hello Pauline, Thank you for your review and for your feedback. It's good that you have been using the repellent every time you go walking with your dog. I'm glad that you also like the fragrance. As you mentioned it is a repellent but if used daily and the environment is also treated it should also kill any fleas present. It does this through 1. Dehydration: It gradually dries them out 2. Disrupting Their Pheromones: Which disrupts their ability to navigate, mate, searching for food, as well as to regulate bodily functions. 3. Dissolves Them: Insects in earlier life stages—eggs, larvae, pupae—are extremely vulnerable, so vulnerable in fact that cedarwood oil can dissolve them on contact. In adult insects it gradually penetrate their shell. 4. Emulsification: breaking down fat particles. 5. Suffocation: the cedarwood oil can interfere with bugs' capacity to breathe. As a result, they are unable to function properly and soon die. Since this is a natural product rather than a chemical spray, the effects may not be immediate. It’s important to remain diligent by checking your dog after walks and during grooming. If the odd flea is spotted, it’s also crucial to treat your environment to break the life cycle of it them becoming a problem, as it can take many weeks to break the life cycle of the flea. So think about treating the environment if you aren't already doing so. Hope this helps and enjoy your walks in the countryside! regards Healthful Pets.

This hasn’t eradicated the fleas as yet but they are getting less also when you see one and spray it they are easy to pick off
