I was recommended these by a friend. I am not a runner but walk with my two dogs. I have Multiple Sclerosis and my balance was not great causing me to limp. This may not be of benifit to Harrier, but i walk upright so no bad effects on my hip and no longer have a limp. i can keep my balance, though i do not need to put all my weight on the poles, they are just really as i am turning for security. They are extremely light which aids my walking too, and the different ends i can if needed use indoors. I would love to be a runner again being once a long distance runner, but i would definately recommend these for runners, walkers and in my case a not so runner!!

Just completed my first trail run using my Helvellyn PRO carbon Z poles, super light, super comfy handles and so easy to fold and unfold when needed. The instruction video really helped and they definitely accelerated me up the mountain

Tested on a 60km hilly trail. Comfortable on my hands/wrists. Easy to assemble/store as the terrain changed. I’d not run with poles before and noticed the benefit for my legs! I’m 160cm tall and the 110s are a good fit. Managed to lose one of the rubber caps, must have bounced out of a pocket, so suggest storing more securely! This is entirely a user error.

When I saw friend using her Harrier poles out on the hills, I asked for a shot, and at that moment I knew I had to get a pair for myself. The fixed height and lightweight poles make a difference and I am looking forward to using them next time I am out

The carbon pro poles are Amazing, from looks to actual use, they tick all the boxes. Incredibly quick to put together and take apart.

I'm not a runner; I'd robably best be described as an ancient hiker with shoulder problems. The weight of everything I carry is very important which is why I chose the Helvellan Pro. So far I have used them over Dartmoor and on stretches of the SW Coastpath and they have been excellent. They seem very robust, easy to unfold/fold and incredibly light. I would have preferred cork handgrips as on warm days my hands have got sweaty but I suppose that might compromise the weight and as it'll soon be glove weather it's no big deal. Hopefully I won't loose these but if I do, I'll have to replace with the same

Very well made, easy to use, wonderfully light. The steps are very comfy and are adjustable, and the poles look great!
