The poles, once you work out how the locking mechanism works, are excellent. I used them for a 50k event in Scotland and they really helped me out in the latter stages. My fault for not realising that you have to pull really hard on the pole to get it to click in place!

First time buying poles! I had read reviews of how good these poles were and they weren’t wrong! Super light and easy to use. Also the tutorial video on how to first start using your poles was incredibly helpful. Great value and really high quality. Would recommend.

Used for a long fell run today with a tough climb and a long fast descent. They were brilliant for pushing along in the bog and power walking the climb and I even felt safer flying down the downhill with poles. They are so light they didn’t bother me at all when I carried them in one hand for the last mile on the road. I highly recommend.

I love these poles. I've never used poles before but as I'm doing a lot more hilly trails I thought it was time to dive in, particularly as my pace has dropped off a cliff in recent years. The poles are sturdy but light and for me at least, are a real game changer. My pace has increased on uphill sections and they are light enough to carry on downhills or can be quickly folded and put into a pack on longer sections. Very happy with the overall quality and the price.

I am now a pole convert! Tried my husbands adjustable poles and realised that very rarely needed to change the height due to the long hand grip section so the lighter pro version is perfect. Great for the hills, give a boost on the flats and stability on the downs.

Excellent poles matching the same specification of more expensive leading brands

My wife and I ordered a pair of the Helvellyn Pro Carbon Z-Poles each - we took them out at the wkd on the cliffs on Guernsey for a 12 miles trail run and were super-impressed. They are compact, light and felt very sturrdy when moving over a range of terrain.
