“Tried the Kinder 10L on first long run in the Lakes at the weekend. Brilliant snug fit, no bounce and very comfortable. Plenty of pockets and room for mandatory Ultra kit. Very happy with purchase & customer service”

“Having broken the cardinal sin of using new kit on race day I can only say that my faith in Harrier paid off with dividends I took delivery of my Harrier kinder 10L race vest at 2.00pm on Friday and lined up for the start of the April fools ultra at 5.45am on Saturday - I hadn't even had time to find all the pockets! I needn't have worried though - the vest fits like a glove and Kate had recommended the medium size vest even for my rotund waistline which was a great confidence booster! The top bag easily accommodated all of the mandatory kit for a winter ultra - full washproofs - I wear Harrier Exmoor Jacket and Dartmoor trousers [which are also excellent] as well as emergency equipment and plenty of food and drink. Everything was easy to access while running and I love the movable chest fastenings which allow you to alter the tensioning as your pack contents change so that weight distribution can be maintained. So after 75km my verdict is that the Kinder 10L is a brilliant piece of kit. Considering it was straight out of the packet there were no heat spots on my neck or shoulders, no rubbing anywhere, and all my kit was dry in the bag. pro's - too many to mention con's- the bungees for the poles kept working loose for some reason and my poles would start bouncing but I probably need to experiment with fastening them in a different way to prevent this. overall a supber piece of kit and excellent value for money”

“Very happy with this vest. Sizing is spot on and there is just enough space for food, water and spare clothing plus other bits of kit. It sits quite high in comparison to a small backpack but once I was used to that I preferred it for runs and hikes up to 15 miles or up to 4 hours. Overall, very happy with the quality, service and price.”

“I've tried quite a few race vests and struggled with fitment but this is fantastic. Plenty of storage and no bouncing around of water bottles when they're full. This is a great bit of kit.”

“I bought the Kinder 10L for it's greater volume over my Salomon 5L vest, principally in order to carry all the mandatory kit for the ARC50. I really like the layout, size and locations of the pockets and find that I can access most of what I need without having to remove the pack. The only negative is that I find the two elastic chest straps too stretchy, most notably when the pack is fully loaded and the higher mass caused greater movement when compared with my Salomon pack. I will therefore replace the straps with less stretchy ones, but I realise this is down to personal preference. Nevertheless, this is a very good pack and great value for money.”
