For some context, I live in the US and bought the new dartmoor/exmoor jacket from the UK on back order and during a pandemic. So my bad there. Suppy-chain hits eventually happen to all businesses…and sometimes all of them at once. As was the case here but Kate was super helpful in passing along many helpful email updates. The initial shipping estimate I received from Harrier (quoted at purchase, weeks prior to delivery) was only a couple days earlier than my actual receive date which was no big issue for me. When I got the jacket, the packaging was clean and professional and the model, size, and color were all correct. I am 5’11”, 185, so like…dad-bod for days. Eventually I decided on the Large, which was correct so hope that helps someone. It’s a snug fit but not restrictive. The material feels really nice and the jacket functions as advertised. The reason I ended up going with the dartmoor/exmoor from Harrier is really simple: This jacket has everything I want and need in an outdoor performance piece while still being cheaper (including $35ish shipping to US) than what I can get here. I was informed up front that there would be a wait but I didn’t mind as it seemed worth it. Thanks Harrier Team for an awesome product and great customer support!

I purchased the Dartmoor waterproof jacket in mens size large and it's superb. It's well made and great value for money. It fits well and has so many great features, everything is covered. I haven't tried it in wet conditions yet but I'm sure it will be great. Thankyou Harrier trail running.

I have only used this jacket once. I initially thought it was a little long in the body for me but during the run the jacket was very comfy and I didn’t notice the length. Cuffs could be a bit tighter for me. Overall I rate the jacket and am pleased with purchase.

Bob Unsworth I wore it for the first time yesterday and sadly I’m not impressed. The arms are too long and baggy. The jacket is also a little long. I think if I sized down it would be too tight a fit on the body. Unfortunately it is not very breathable. When I finished my 5 mile run, it was soaking on the inside. The jacket would be suitable for someone tall and slim, or just tall. I am 5ft 9” with a 42” chest and I have a large.

Very quickly you realise that this is a jacket designed by trail runners. The double zip is great to be able to get to your front pouches on your race vest underneath, or just to cool down and the idea to be able to roll it into a waistband is great with the added poppers - no more problems having a flappy jacket ties around your waist with the sleeves! There are so many neat features that a lot of others fail to provide. I was a bit worried about the fit - I'm fairly tall (6'3") and slim and jackets usually end up either too baggy, arms too short or body not long enough, but the fit is great. It also works well with the race vest underneath, with some expansion folds. The jacket folds up into a pocket - it's not the smallest I've seen, but easily fits into a race vest. I've not been able to test it out in the rain yet - typical British weather, it doesn't rain when you want it to!

I'm so excited about this jacket! Right out of the package, the fit & finish and quality of material are apparent. David vs Goliath, Harrier is taking on the overpriced big name brands and they're off to a great start with this product! Super soft exterior, 'no-rustle' as advertised (very important to me), and jam-packed with running-specific features not even found on $300 + competitor products, it's clear that considerable thought went into the design of this jacket. Looking forward to much more from this company, hopefully US distribution!

Brilliant bit of kit. Lightweight, comfortable and doesn’t rustle while running which is great.

Received my new (Dartmoor/Exmoor) waterproof a couple weeks back, did have to wait a while for order to turn up but in fairness the problem was not of Harriers making, the communication from Harrier was absolutely first class and the product was well worth the wait, I have been holding off giving a review as I’ve been waiting to use the jacket in the rain, which in Wales is very often but unusually for us we have hardly had any so all I can say is that the product is packed with great features, the company have been first class and I look forward to giving you more business very soon
