I've never been more surprised with the extra things this jacket has - apart from it fits over my hydration vest, has another zip just so I can drink without unzipping my coat - comes with clips so you can unzip the coat but to stop it flapping around you have extra clips to hold it together - it even has rubber strips on the shoulders so you can wear a day pack on the outside and they stop it sliding around

Initial impressions of the jacket, as I’ve not used it in anger yet! Very impressed. The cut is perfect for my long frame, with good coverage over my butt :-). Good length on the sleeves too. The slightly wider cuffs that some users have commented on are great imo. They allow you to get the jacket on while still wearing gloves-one less bit of faff to contend with. I like the off-set main zip-no scratching of your throat. How much use I get from the backpack access zip remains to be seen, but it does no harm having it. The press stud fastener to hold the jacket in place when the zip is open is a great idea too. Really like the soft, non-crinkly material. For the future-consider a two-way main zip for a jacket this length. Would allow access to your Baslow more easily. Everyone has one, haven’t they? Also a means of securing the hood if it’s rolled up? I understand the rationale for a single colour at this stage of development but this jacket would be great for road running too so a brighter colour for that would be good. Means I could have two! Great result Harrier.

A great jacket and a brilliant 'first' effort which highlights the old oft used adage, "designed by runners for runners". You can tell that this jacket has been thought through to reflect the needs that harrier has identified from their own experiences. The jacket, in short, dry test runs, has proved to be warm and comfortable. It has not been tested in the wet yet, but being the Uk that won't be far away. Overall very pleased with the jacket and great to buy from a small independent company.
