Was worried about the sizing however after correspondence with Kate I opted for the L size. The Exmoor is a fantastic waterproof jacket that ticks all the necessary boxes and more for an ultra runner. The youtube video explains the wearing of it and how it all works. With the cost of living these days, this gem of a waterproof jacket is perfect. Thank you Harrier!

Great quality, great fit. Full of great features and a joy to wear something that keeps the wet out so well without it being so unbreathable that you’re wetter on the inside!!

Superb jacket, took it straight out into the January rain and was dry and comfortable. Looks great with lots of features. Only downside is that I now have to buy one for my wife.

Firstly two points regarding Harrier & the people that run Harrier. 1. They're interested in what you have to say as a customer, nothing is too much trouble and they are 100% good at what they do. There are not many places like this so I'd highly recommend them. 2. Onto the jacket. Well, it's wintertime in the UK and up here in the North East we've had some 'inclement' weather, to say the least. I had my Exmoor replaced as I'd ordered the wrong size, got the right size and went out. In the rain. In minus 4 degree temps (with a wind chill factor of around minus 7). I wore a decent base layer underneath the jacket and that was all I needed (apart from shorts and trainers and Moggans socks). It rained, it sleeted and then it got sunny and then it went back to rain, sleet and snow with a strong wind. The Exmoor never failed! It is waterproof, has good wind protection, is very, very comfortable, and the vents are well placed for when you begin to feel a bit warm (the pop stud on the inside is a godsend and on a jacket of this price....that's design foresight for you). Oh aye, the hood with the cap feature is also very good and it's adjustable so it can pull in close and give you some protection. Pockets. Oh, and the jacket is breathable. Two decent, zipped pockets on the front of the jacket which kept my phone and car keys safe and dry, and one big pocket at the rear of the jacket that was a good stash for gloves, hat, buff and still room for drinks pouch and energy bars without feeling overly full and weighty. Marvellous. Look, unless you're Jornet or Karnazes, etc, the Exmoor will perform for you (and I'd dare say the Exmoor would perform for those guys too). For the price it's a bigger brand's killer, for an independent to come out with a piece of kit like this, it's well researched, they've taken the time to design and use features normally on jackets twice the price, and it's remarkable. Would I recommend it? Without a doubt. Will it last? Hopefully (good quality zips normally last a long time and this has them). The Exmoor feels like quality. Buy it. You'll pay more elsewhere for a jacket with fewer features and truly not as good value as the Exmoor. The Exmoor is THAT good.

Got my Exmoor waterproof a couple of weeks ago ... after an easy change due to get the right size. So now the weather has cooperated to properly test the jacket a couple of times. Rain: once in light rain for just over an hour, another time in heavy and light rain for about an hour. It feels light and comfy. I loved slinging it over my 15l vest on a trail marathon today, kept everything nice and dry inside. Hood is good. Pockets also waterproof. The side vents are good for staying cool, as are the press studs on the front. Overall, what's not to like? Thanks Harrier team! Ps sizing: I'm about 181cm and the L is just nice.

I received my Harrier Exmoor waterproof jacket here in Canada early December 2022. The weather here is from 5C to about -5C presently with some wet days. I've started using the jacket and can say I love the fit, lightness, style and colour. The jacket fits well and has kept me dry. I'm planning on buying another one along with the water-proof pants and a T-shirt if a large size becomes available. Well done to Kate and her team.

I bought a men's Exmoor waterproof jacket specifically for the Cheviot Goat ultra. I looked at similar jackets from other brands; despite the Exmoor jacket being dramatically cheaper the spec looked good so I ordered one which was delivered quickly and correctly. I hadn't expected to need it during the race but darkness fell and the weather closed in so I put it on over the top of a base layer and a lightweight windproof jacket. I'm 6'3" with typical ultra runner build; I ordered a Large which fitted easily over the windproof and importantly the sleeves were long enough. I wore it for eleven hours in snow, rain, wind and near zero temperatures and it was perfect. Strongly recommended.
