“Hilly runs are better with poles IMO. Tried Helvellyn poles out on some steep and slippery hills. First time running with poles and I was glad to have them. Saves the legs going up and coming down. Light enough to easily carry when not needed. Extra stability on slippy mud was a relief. Recommended :)”

“I’ve always used Black diamond alpine carbon which have been amazing with cork handles but wanted some z poles which were lighter for an OMM race recently. Also important I could use for my tents (Durston Xmid 1P and Terra Nova Northern Lite 2). I purchased these in REGULAR and they are perfect. The larger size would be too big for your tent. They’re super lightweight and sturdy. Snap out to 110cm and extent to 125cm which is perfect. These are now my goto poles. I do miss cork handles and foam can rub your hands over time but trust me, these are a no brainer. These are the poles I’d recommend to anyone moving forward. It’s often overlooked, but the straps on this for wrists are brilliant and padded and comfy. Great price too.”
