I was recommended these by a friend who does lots of ultra runs. I bought them for a few upcoming long trail runs including the Hampshire Hoppit and tried them out at the Endure24 event in Wasing. Luckily you had a stand there and once I was shown how to lock them in place, I went out for a powerwalk lap. What a revelation! Once I got into a rhythm I felt much more confident and stable, and was able to keep the same speed up the hills as on the flat. On steep downhills, the poles give you much more confidence and I flew past other runners. I'm a convert! The only slight downside is it seems you can't clip all three sections together when the poles are folded uo and I suspect the velco strap won't be around for much longer.

Unbelievably good poles and you won’t find them anywhere for this price.

Used these on a 21km trail run on the South Downs in prep for my first 50km utlra. These really helped on getting up some of the stepest hills. They were suprising light weight and easy to open up and pack away. They strap nicely into my Harrier Kinder 10L race vest. Thanks Harrier!

I used these for the first time on the South Downs Way 100 miles. They are not as lightweight as some more expensive poles but fit easily in or on a race vest. They are easy to set up and have comfortable hand grips. They are sturdy and give stability on rough ground. Good value for money.
