“It looks like you've taken my first review down! This is significantly inferior to its predecessor. In my view (and I've used it a few times to check) it's no better than a cheap disposable razor. It doesn't achieve a smooth shave and the under nose trimmer is harsh and ineffective. Sadly I will now have to find an alternative.”

“Recently the quality of these blades has been absolutely shocking. They constantly break or don't stay on the razor handle properly. I used to get 2 showers out of each blade head, now I'm lucky if I get 1. Plus the chang to the packagimg seems ridiculous. They're still in plastic yet the strip of 4 blades is now split into 2 sets of 2 and each set of 2 has its own box? This seems mad, especially in an age where most companies are reducing the amount of packaging, not increasing it”

These new blades are made using 30% recycled plastic, and both the blades and packaging can be returned through our razor recycling scheme — a step forward in our ongoing efforts to reduce environmental impact. This upgrade came directly in response to valuable customer feedback about the performance and consistency of our previous razors. After extensive testing, we're confident that the new design offers a smoother, more comfortable shave and improved durability — though we're sorry to hear that hasn't been your experience so far. “I’ve been using these blades for a couple of years now and have observed quite a significant drop in quality from when I first started which is disappointing. While they are expensive, each blade used last for months without getting dull, I’d never cut myself and they felt very premium. Now they barely last a couple of weeks before starting to pull and cut, and have been giving me really bad razor rash which never used to happen. I think they must have changed the blades to cheaper materials or changed the blade arrangement. I really don’t think these worth the price anymore so I will probably be moving away from this brand and wouldn’t currently recommend it.”

“I had these previously when they had a protective strip to help with the shave - they were brilliant!!! really comfortable shave. I have just tried the new style 6 blade and there has definitely been some changes - I find I have to keep shaving the same spot to get rid of stubble, it doesn't leave my face feeling irritation free like the old ones. I have just cancelled my subscription for now.”
