“Seemed to do a good job of cleaning skin, but left an unpleasant sticky residue on the bath sponge. I’m not sure I’d use it in hair because of that.”

Hi there, Thank you for sharing your feedback – we’re glad to hear the bar did a good job of cleansing, but we’re sorry about the sticky residue you noticed on your bath sponge. Our Hair & Everywhere Bars are designed to rinse clean, but sometimes residue can cling to certain sponge materials. A tip that can help is to rinse the sponge thoroughly under warm water after use, or apply the bar directly to your hands or hair instead of the sponge for a cleaner finish. “The bar is very soft, so it broke into 4 pieces during the first use. It is nearly impossible to use it as shampoo, as you have to apply it directly onto wet hair. It is hard to use it as body wash, as it’s hardly foaming. I somehow managed to get 2 uses out of it - washed my hair and body twice in total with great difficulty only because I had to (on holiday with no other products available) - then had to bin the remaining crumbs of the bar. The bar smells slightly of green apples when it it’s solid state, no smell remains on skin or hair. It washes hair reasonably well, but £5 for two hair washes is hardly worth it. I am very disappointed with the performance of this product, do not recommend it and will not buy it again.”
