“Not for me, at all. I don't expect it to lather like the shampoo bar but how on earth do you use it? I've tried to lather it, 'gloss' it over my hair, rub it into my hair - no! This is not a good product for me/my hair/type but someone else might get on with it better, but that someone is not me, I'm afraid & I have been extremely patient & used it a number of times...& yesterday I received it again on my Gruum advent calendar ...I'll donate it to charity...xx”

Conditioner bars can feel quite different to use compared to traditional liquid conditioners, and application can vary depending on hair type and preference. Many customers find it works best when lightly applied to very wet hair or warmed between the hands before smoothing through the lengths. “Packed in cardboard with no plastic, this is a great conditioner. Being a bar, it can't leak if you take it with you on holiday. Lasts for ages, very economical. Very effective conditioner. Amazing. Never thought I'd be writing cosmetic product reviews in my late 60s but life is full of surprises. Glad to have discovered gruum, better late than never”

“Great conditioning bar, easy to use and doesn't make your hair lank. One criticism would be to make it a different colour to shampoo bars. It's very difficult to get other people to use it because they don't know what it is, and they often get mixed up.”
