Conditioner bars don’t typically lather in the same way as shampoo, as they’re designed to soften and smooth the hair rather than foam. If you’re finding it a little firm to use, warming the bar between your hands or applying it to wet palms before working it through the hair can help it glide on more easily. “Takes a while to produce enough conditioner from the bar to cover your hair (and I have very short hair). I found the best way to do this is to rub the bar straight on your head contrary to the instructions. Once you have the conditioner on, it works really well and leaves your hair soft and silky. It has a pleasant smell which is not too strong. The bar dries quickly and will last quite a while I reckon.”
