“Great boots indeed. I purchased it oversea during Black Friday season on the Internet. I took a significant amount of time researching the correct size for my foot. Since this website does not show CM in size, I had to google it, not just us google but all the Europe google as well, using translation mode. About 260CM length of foot fits perfectly on size 40, which is my size indeed. When I say perfectly, I wear socks(not too thick ones) then have about 3 mm space left over my toe. Some says you need 5 mm space left over are required for comfort, but I usually wear my shoes quite tightly so I'm very happy with my purchase.
My boots have better appealing Grisport logo instead of 'HIKE' logo shown in the produce introduction page, which looks way cooler. Also the boots are very light. I thought it would be heavier. I haven't yet wear these for long time so not sure how strong these will be, but really really hope it lasts long because I really love it! Will purchase another boots again from this seller next year!”
“Really good sturdy traditional walking boots, yet still lightweight for a leather boot. Pleased that they have the gripping eyelet separating the toe section from the ankle, great for easily applying different lace tensioning. The pair I purchased now have a much more appealing Grisport logo on the tongue, rather than the horrible Hiking Plus logo, this is a good change. I would recommend these.”
“Original order placed for a pair of Avenger boots On 6th December @ £88 in black Friday sale this order was refunded as no stock. Reordered same boots on 8th December @ £93 With a 15% discount ! Advised on the 10th that they would be arriving the next week, boots actually despatched on 6th January with no walking pack as per order and the boots are now £88 again on the website. No answer to my emails asking when I would recieve the boots either, poor customer service at best for a repeat customer. The boots however are very good just the customer service sadly lacking”
“They look like a good sturdy boot, not too heavy and nice design - not too fancy or gimmicky. Not too wide - which many women's boots are. It's not easy to find leather walking boots these days, but I much prefer them to GoreTex. I am still breaking these in at home, they are quite stiff compared to faithful old boots which I've had for years, but I'm sure will soften with wear. I'm looking forward to years of wear and miles of happy walking.”
“The boots are very good quality - the leather supple and the stitching sound. The weather in Cornwall has been particularly wet recently and the boots have proved to be completely waterproof. They did take a few days to fully mould to my feet which was helped by an application of leather dressing. All-in-all I am very pleased with them especially at a competitive price and the two free gifts I received. Highly recommended.”
