“I found them a good fit - not always the case with EU numbering systems - the finish was good and I'm sure after a week or so's wear they'll fit me like a glove. The lace eyelets were well finished (not always the case with some boots), while the cushioned soles enable me to stride out when walking the dog. What's not to like? Colour? Fine. A 'non-conspicuous' brown allowing me to dress down or up, as I feel at the time. This is the review of a happy customer !”
“This is an early review (ie. I’ve only had the boots a few weeks), so I can’t testify to the long-term solidity and comfort of the boot. However, I am impressed by the quality and care in construction compared to similarly priced boots.
I’ve also been impressed by Grisport’s service - I had tried several different pairs (Quattro, Aztec) which hadn’t quite fitted my feet right before finding the Evolution. Grisport gave me v good advice about which ones to try next, and the returns process was easy.”
“I have been buying Grisport boots for work and for walking for over 30 years now. This time I thought I would try the Evolution. I think this is my favourite so far.
As a woman with size 8 wide feet and Morton's neuromas I buy men's boots for sizing as they allow the wearing of thick walking socks.
These are true to size, as with every boot I have bought from Grisport, you can walk miles wearing them straight out of the box. I usually wear them 6 days a week for several hours at a time and my feet never feel tired or sore.
The ankle support is supportive but very cushioned and the fit is perfect.
I am more than happy with them.”
“Just three proper hikes since purchase, with serious mud encountered in one. Good fit, great comfort, and a noticeably grippy sole for these boots, which were admired by fellow walkers. I will look after them!
First time I have bought walking boots on line, and the process worked well.”
