Cheap lace hook fittings will cut and destroy laces very quickly.
Leather already starting to crack across toe joints. Second walk damp was already penetrating leather along these cracks.
Good tred grip and rounded heel should compensate for uneven heel wear. Have boots with thin sole heels which have worn away and now wearing the foam under structure.”
