“I bought this recently in the hope that it wouldn't cause the skin around my eyes to become red and itchy. I suffer with contact dermatitis and struggle to find any kind of skin product that does not make my skin red and itchy. After go ogling common skin irritants in beauty products I was happy to learn that the Green People do not include these in this mascara. Sadly the product caused my skin to react in the same way as all other mascaras so I won't purchase this again.”

Every individual is unique in their chemical and biological make-up, it is therefore impossible to create skin care products that are suitable for absolutely everybody. We select our product ingredients with great care, to minimise the potential for allergic reactions and sensitivities. Even natural ingredients can cause reactions and some people can be just as sensitive to them as to synthetic chemical ingredients.

“Unfortunatley i have extemely sensitive eyes and after only a few minutes had very itchy runny eyes so not for me but the mascara itself was good no clumping when applied .I have tried almost every brand of mascara from really expensive to really cheap all have had the same result i was really hoping this one would be ok i'm a little dissapointed”

“Having discovered that a lot mascara's can have mercury in them, I was very keen to find an organic mascara. I read the reviews on here and decided to give it a go.... VERY happy! Luscious eyelashes, without the toxins and they do it in "brown black" colour which I much prefer to the harshness of black. Thoroughly recommend it and will never buy another brand again!.”

“I recently bought this product for the first time because I've been struggling for months with really sensitive eyes, which has probably been exacerbated by the mainstream branded mascara I've been using for years (I was horrified when I learned what ingredients they use). I did some research and Green People's seems like one of the best. I really want to love it but, like some other users, I have had issues with it not drying and also bleeding onto my cheeks and eyelids throughout the day, although the last few applications have been better. It doesn't give me the length and definition of my previous mascara, but I am pleased with it and it's a compromise I'm willing to make in order to not have harsh chemicals so close to my eyes. The only other negative is that the formula seems quite clumpy for a brand new mascara; it doesn't seem fluid and glossy as is usually the case with new products, so I don't think it will last that long. Not sure if this is usual, or whether I might have received a faulty one, so the jury is still out...”
