“I want to like this more than I do. I find it quite flaky going on but I do like the look with one or two coats, not too heavy. It is also kind to my sensitive eyes. But I’m not fan of the wand which is too big which means when doing in the inner eye area mascara often ends up on my skin instead of lashes. Very easy to wipe off though, and easy to wash off at the end of the day. I wouldn’t but again for 3 reasons. The wand, the flaking, and for me because it’s not vegan. I stupidly believed the AI search results and got caught up with the sell of wonderful, natural and organic ingredients and obviously cruelty-free. All great but as it’s not completely vegan this is a deal-breaker. Sadly I’m still searching for that perfect mascara!”

“I initially thought this mascara was rather dry and would be ineffective, but no it works in a slightly different way to others I have tried. Fine pigments coat the lashes without too much liquid. It seems to last a long time and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by it.”

If the Volumising Mascara in Brown is feeling a little clumpy, wiping the brush on the inside of the tube rather than the rim before applying can help remove any excess product and give a cleaner, more even application. Keeping the cap on tightly between uses also helps prevent the formula from drying out too quickly.

On the lower lashes, the skin is often warmer and oilier which can cause smudging more easily regardless of the formula. Many people find applying just a very thin coat to the lower lashes or skipping them altogether works best and it sounds like you have already found your perfect technique!

“I have been using this mascara for years now. I do not wear much make up, I am 66 and I am determined to only use environmentally safe toiletries, make up and cleaning products. This mascara works for me and lasts me a long time. It is more expensive but it is worth it. I have a fair skin and my hair was strawberry blonde.
